Parking at the surgery is at the rear of the building
Please only use these spaces for the duration of your visit with us.
We offer disabled parking spaces for our patients to use. May we ask all patients to be considerate when using these spaces.
The main entrance to the building offers automatic doors as well as the entrance through to reception.
There is ample space in the waiting rooms for parking of wheelchairs and we of course provide disabled toilets. We also provide a lift for patient use.
We have access to a wheelchair that patients can use during their visit.
If you have any issues with disabled access, please do let us know.
Local organisations can offer assistance – for example,Tavistock Area Support Services (TASS) which will provide transport for the frail and elderly to and from the surgery. Please be aware that you must give at least one weeks notice and there is a small charge for this service.
Contact 01822 617525 for more information.
Alternatively, our receptionists will be happy to telephone for a taxi to take you home following your appointment. If you have a particular difficulty, please let the receptionist know. Our staff will do all they can to help you.
Patients with Hearing Loss
We have a portable hearing loop at reception for patients who are hard of hearing. This can be moved into the doctor's consultation room on request for your consultation.
Patients with Sight Problems
For any patients who find it hard to read, we offer a patient information booklet in CD format. Please request a copy from Jonathan, Information Officer, if required.
